How does it work?
When using dipping powder, a base coat (dipping base) is first applied to the nail, then the finger is dipped into the powder at a 45-degree angle. The powder adheres to the sticky base layer, after which an activator helps it harden. Finally, a glossy top coat seals the design – leaving the nails durable, shiny and resistant to wear.
Step by step – how to apply dipping powder
- Prepare the nail (push back cuticles, buff, remove dust).
- Apply Nail Prep and let it dry.
- Apply dipping base to the first nail, then dip the finger into clear powder.
- Brush off excess powder.
- Apply base again, followed by your chosen colored dipping powder.
- After dusting off, repeat the colored layer for a more intense result if desired.
- Apply activator to harden the powder.
- Smooth out any unevenness with a buffer.
- After activator, apply dipping top for shine – twice!
- Let it dry – and your perfect manicure is ready!
